The rooms were cool due to the quality of the AC unit. the staff were extra attentive and efficient. - the location was great for Muscat, close to a shopping center, a very nice and clean beach, and the opera house.

Everything was fine, however a few employees were not very friendly.

The hotel was excellent value and overlooked street. Booked deluxe twin room, that included an electronic key card, coffee/tea makers, and a work desk. The location was perfect and amazing - close to restaurants and bars. There was Arax nearby, offering quick meals. Greatly enjoyed the Irish bar.

The hotel is conveniently located near a vibrant shopping center, charming restaurants, and an opera house, offering a great dining experience in the outdoor restaurant nearby.

The location here is fantastic, very near lots of sights to see.

No complaints, it was dope! I booked this recently renovated hotel for trip, had a nice stay, its location was unbeatable close to the sea. The staff was amiable and outstandingly accommodating, offered good services. Had soft drinks in the Irish bar...

It was close to the beach. Decent, clean room. Average mid-range hotel. Good breakfast included. Very good value especially if there is more than one person sharing a room.

Late checkout was only available by paying an additional half night room rate which is too much to pay for wanting to stay an extra 2 hours. Far from any shops. I had the option of booking this hotel or Beach Hotel (cheaper). I looked at Beach Hotel when I was there and it was much more basic but in a better location-closer to cafes, restaurants, and taxis. Coral Hotel was a better choice if you prefer a nicer hotel and don't mind a 20min stroll along the beach to the cafes and restaurants (which is a very nice stroll!)

The staff here is very welcoming and the location close to the sea is ideal, plus Mokha Cafe nearby is great for tea or coffee.

Good hotel in a great location very close to the beach for an excellent price. Other reviews seem to be overly critical to me. I stayed in a number of hotels in Muscat, this is by far the best value for the quality/location. Staff also friendly and vey obliging for a late check- out. No facilities but a pass to the Hyatt's pool right next door is OMR 10 for a full day. Coral is not the Hyatt but at 1/4 price + OMR 10 for the Hyatt's pool, it's far better!

Near the beach, not croweded, low price. Good service, nice personell. Will recommend Coral to my friends.

The rooms are equipped with good air conditioning, the location is convenient with a 15-minute walk to Shatti al Qurum, and the staff is extremely attentive with a quick check-in process.

The location is great as you are within 2 minutes walk on a long non-crowded beach. Also located in the fancy diplomatic district. Great embassies are built around and a supermarked (al fair) is 20 mins walk. It is just placed next to the grand hyatt so you can have a(n alcoholic) drink over there. beds were gread and very clean. reception friendly and helpful. They have a cosy chill out area in front of the hotel with some oriental couches and good reasonably priced dinner. book via Booked.net (also on the day of arrival) as walk in guests pay 20% more!!! ATM just in front of the entrance door. taxis available right away.

You can not open a single window. The views are not too good. One side shows the Grand Hyatt backside. The other one has hardly any view. bbc channel has a weird sound (a bit electronic) - they have 1 movie chanel with arabic subtitels and cnn. rest is arabic.
